The development project in Togo is built in partnership with the International Canoe Federation and the Togolese Rowing and Canoe Federation. The idea is to develop a recreational centre on the outskirts of Lomé (capital of Togo) on the Aného Lake, within which a slalom club could be integrated. Lucrative tourist activities could eventually finance the kayak club. The project is based on four stages:

                1. Set up and equip the club
                2. Train the local executives
                3. Organise training camps

                4. Twin with the Bohlokong club in South Africa.
